With an aim to spread awareness about
environment protection and cultural heritage, Axis Bank, India’s third largest
private sector bank, has rolled out Season II of Splash, a pan-India painting
competition on ‘my dream world’, ‘festivals of India’ and ‘go green’ themes.
The competition started on Children’s Day (November 14) and is being held
across all branches of the bank.
The competition is open to all
children in the age group of 7 to 12 years. Parents need to register their
child at the nearest Axis Bank branch for participating in this contest. The
competition is not restricted to customers of the bank.
Manisha Lath Gupta, EVP and head
of marketing, retail liabilities and electronic banking, Axis Bank, said, ‘We
are encouraged to initiate Season II of Splash after an overwhelming response
from close to 30,000 children last year. Banks are an integral part of each
neighbourhood and through Splash we look forward to engaging with children and
spreading social messages across neighbourhoods.’
While the branch-level winners
were awarded on Children’s Day itself, the state- and national-level winners
will be declared by the end of December.
